Legal & Community Terms
Effective October 13, 2026 · Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms govern the Melodynamic Studios website, store, software, connected-device services, and Artist Corner. By purchasing, registering, activating a product, or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable service. This page is a practical operating policy and should be reviewed by a licensed attorney before public launch.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and use a unique username. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Artist Corner is intended for adults age 18 or older. We may reject, suspend, or remove accounts that impersonate others, evade enforcement, distribute malware, engage in fraud, harass users, or violate law or these terms.
2. Asset trackers and lawful use
Melodynamic asset trackers are designed to help locate property that you own or are expressly authorized to monitor. They may not be used to secretly track a person, vehicle, device, animal, or property without all legally required permission. They may not be used for stalking, harassment, coercion, surveillance, or any unlawful purpose. The tracker is designed to emit an audible alert when a location request is made as an anti-abuse feature; you may not disable, obstruct, or circumvent that safeguard.
Location results may be delayed, approximate, unavailable, or affected by battery state, signal coverage, networks, buildings, weather, device placement, maintenance, or third-party services. The tracker is not an emergency service, life-safety system, theft guarantee, or substitute for police or emergency assistance. If a person may be in danger, contact local emergency services. You are responsible for confirming that your use is lawful in every applicable jurisdiction.
3. Melodyn, sounds, presets, and digital products
Melodyn and its included factory sounds, samples, presets, artwork, documentation, code, and installers are licensed, not sold. A valid purchaser may use the software and render its sounds as part of original music, audiovisual productions, performances, and client work, including commercial work. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, upload, share, extract, repackage, or make the included sounds, samples, presets, skins, or software available as a competing sample library, preset pack, instrument, template, dataset, or other standalone product. Processed or layered factory material remains subject to this restriction when it is being supplied primarily as reusable source material rather than as part of a finished creative work.
Digital products are provided as-is and as available. Compatibility depends on the stated operating systems, hosts, formats, and hardware. Except where required by law, licenses may be limited, suspended, or revoked for fraud, chargeback abuse, unauthorized sharing, circumvention, or material violation of these terms.
4. Artist Corner community
Users retain ownership of material they submit. By posting a profile, comment, poll, link, avatar, listing, or other content, you grant Melodynamic Studios a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, format, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and promote the Artist Corner service. You represent that you have permission to share it.
Do not post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, private, malicious, or spam content. Do not misrepresent credentials or use Artist Corner to bypass another service’s rules. Direct messages and contract files are not routinely read for advertising. Authorized administrators may access relevant records when reasonably necessary to investigate a report, safety issue, suspected fraud, technical incident, legal request, or a dispute submitted for intervention. Access may be logged and limited to what is reasonably necessary.
5. Collaborations, contracts, and payments
Artist Corner helps people connect but does not become a party to their collaboration, employment, representation, licensing, or service agreement unless Melodynamic Studios signs a separate written agreement. Templates are educational starting points, not legal advice. Users must independently confirm scope, ownership, credits, payment terms, deadlines, tax obligations, releases, and commercial-use rights. A platform status such as “accepted” records an account action; it does not guarantee enforceability, identity, performance, or payment.
Third-party payment, ticketing, media, portfolio, and marketplace services are governed by their own terms and fees. Unless a specific Melodynamic checkout expressly says funds are held in escrow, Melodynamic Studios does not hold funds in escrow and does not guarantee completion, refunds, event performance, or ticket validity.
6. Moderation and enforcement
Reports are reviewed in good faith, but submission does not guarantee removal or a particular outcome. We may preserve, restrict, remove, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or the public, comply with legal process, prevent fraud, or maintain the service. Repeated false reports, retaliation, or attempts to manipulate votes, ratings, messages, or profiles may result in suspension.
7. Disclaimers and limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, services and products are provided without warranties beyond any written product warranty supplied at purchase. Melodynamic Studios is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, failed collaborations, missed events, unauthorized tracking, or third-party conduct. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these terms prospectively as products and community features change. Material updates will receive a new date. Arizona law governs these terms except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Questions, legal notices, privacy requests, and abuse reports may be sent through the Contact page. For urgent danger, contact local emergency services rather than the website.
