This policy explains how Melodynamic Studios LLC collects, uses, stores, and shares information through melodynamicstudios.com, product licensing, Asset Tracker services, and Artist Corner.
We use information to process orders, deliver downloads, activate licenses, operate trackers, display profiles, enable messages and contracts, provide support, prevent abuse, secure accounts, improve products, comply with law, and enforce our terms. We do not sell precise location data or private Artist Corner messages.
Private messages and contract files are not routinely reviewed for advertising. Authorized administrators may access relevant content when a user submits a report or dispute, when needed to investigate fraud or a security incident, or when required by valid legal process. Reports, moderation actions, and access may be logged. Public profiles, comments, polls, and links are visible according to the feature’s displayed settings.
Our Asset Tracker service is in development and limited testing. Hardware, account features, phone verification and automated messaging are not all available for general customer use. This policy covers information processed during testing as well as features when they become available; describing a feature here does not mean it has launched.
Depending on the test or feature used, we process tracker serial numbers, account associations, tracker names, notification phone numbers, SMS consent preferences, motion and status events, battery information, timestamps, coordinates and message delivery or error records. Tests may use simulated coordinates, identified as simulated. We use this information to develop and test alerts, display tracker history, deliver requested updates, troubleshoot failures and protect accounts. We do not sell tracker location data or use it for behavioral advertising.
Tracker messages may contain coordinates or a Google Maps link. Twilio and participating carriers process the recipient number and message content to deliver SMS. Cloudflare processes tracker events and account-linked records for our backend. Opening a Google Maps link sends the location in that link to Google, under Google’s privacy policy. Anyone you forward an alert or map link to may be able to view that location. Location accuracy and message delivery are not guaranteed. The tracker is intended to protect belongings, not to track people or animals.
The Melodynamic Studios Asset Tracker SMS program is for transactional tracker notifications and explicitly requested tests, not marketing. Providing a phone number or opening a message preview does not by itself authorize SMS. Only provide a number you own or control and explicitly opt in before receiving texts. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or transfer SMS consent to another sender. Providers processing phone numbers and message content for delivery act to support this service, not to enroll recipients in their own campaigns.
During limited testing, contact melodynamicstudios@gmail.com to withdraw test participation, request removal of a notification number or ask for help. Customer-facing phone verification and automated STOP/HELP handling remain in development; we will update the published SMS terms and enrollment instructions as those features become available.
We may use hosting, security, payments, email, analytics, media, licensing, shipping, and infrastructure providers to perform services for us. They receive only information reasonably needed for their role and operate under their own terms where applicable. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, complete a business transaction, or with your direction. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We retain records for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, security, accounting, legal compliance, disputes, and warranty or license administration. Users may be offered controls to remove superseded contract revisions. No system is perfectly secure; use a strong, unique password and report suspected account misuse promptly.
You may update account and profile information, deactivate eligible trackers, remove eligible community content, and request access, correction, or deletion through the Contact page. Some records may be retained when required for tax, fraud prevention, licensing, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Browser settings can limit cookies, though some account and store features may stop working.
Artist Corner is intended for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly create Artist Corner profiles for children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
We may update this policy as services change. Material changes will receive a new date. Submit privacy questions or requests through the Contact page.
